Open Number Lines

We will be using Number Lines a WHOLE lot this year with 2 and 3 digit addition and subtraction as well as in story problems!  Here is a video that can help you at home with number lines.  You may have to make a FREE account to access the video.

Part-Part-Whole

We will be using part-part-whole organizers to decide if we are going to add or subtract.  If you are missing a whole, then you know to add.  If you are missing one of the parts, then you subtract.  Here is a link to help with the concept.
